I have a dream…

Imagine if you asked me: “What do you do for a living?”
And my reply would be: “I learn languages, and I help other people do the same!”

Wouldn’t that be the coolest reply ever?

Let me turn things around, and ask you: if you shouldn’t worry about money at all, what would you do?
Me, I would probably just learn new languages all the time and putting theory into practice by traveling the world or showing my city to tourists, sharing the whole process with you, and helping you to reach your own language learning goals.

Of course, that is easier said than done.

I have a plan!

I started this project to help and inspire people to learn new languages and see the world as one. I started it with a clear business model to make it all self sufficient in the long term: but Rome wasn’t built in a day, and I strongly believe in the power of the community, in giving and getting something back, not because you HAVE to, but because you WANT to.

Both the blog and the YouTube channel are completely free for everybody to access, with no Premium or VIP videos or posts. But as you can imagine, doing videos and blog posts, and deaint with the marketing, and the graphics and so on… (yes, I do it all by myself) takes away quite some time…

So, let’s say that, right here right now, you want to help me take this project further as long as possible. You have a couple of options: one is buying one of the services or products that the project currently offers; the other is becoming a patron for the whole project.

A what? A patron.

Have you heard about Patreon?

Patreon is “an internet-based platform that allows content creators to build their own subscription content service. It allows artists to receive funding directly from their fans, or patrons, on a recurring basis”.

So a Patron is a fan, a paying subscriber. But how does it actually work? You visit my page on Patreon.com, and you become a patron by making a monthly pledge, starting from as little as 1 $. It’s as easy as uno-dos-tres.

Of course you can find more info on the actual Patron page. But maybe now you are asking yourself…

“Why should I become a patron for this project?”

Well, maybe because you find value in the free content that I share on the blog and on the YouTube channel, and you want to give a tiny bit of that value back to me. Or maybe you just follow me, and you like what I do. Or you stumbled upon my project and you just want to let me know that you were inspired in some way by what I say or do. Or maybe you just want to help me keep this project ad-free and sustainable, and help it reach its goals, entering a cool community and enjoying the rewards that come with being a patron of the project.

Still not sure? Have a closer look on Patreon!
